Zoe-perry

Perry has the father of actors Laurie Metcalf, and Jeff Perry. Her first television performances were Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother played her role. Perry did not decide to consider a career in acting until after she had reached the age of adulthood due to her parents being concerned about the adverse consequences stress can cause. Perry confessed that she wasn't comfortable acting in high school. However, she began doing it to connect with new people in Northwestern University after switching from Boston University. Perry started her acting career as an actress in New York after graduation, performing in minor role in Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Then, homesickness led to Perry go back to California to work as a theater actress. She appeared on Broadway as a part of The Other Place with her mother in 2013. In 2015, she was a part of her father and Kevin McKidd in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning film Anna Christie at the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West Los Angeles. Perry appeared in 9 episodes on ABC's drama The Family during 2016. Perry played a prominent role in the ABC political drama Scandal which starred her father. The actress was also featured on The CBS show The Big Bang Theory spinoff Young Sheldon as a version younger of Mary Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's mother. The role was given by audition regardless of the fact that she is a relative with the character.
