Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in the US for the past 40 years. Her most well-known role is for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first production she acted in during her stage debut. In the 1950s, she acted as a stage artist in several Broadway productions before gaining into the spotlight with her hit song 'Lil' Abner' in 1957. In 1957, she released her debut music album called It's time for Tina. Louise started with her Hollywood career in the year 1958 in which she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a drama film. It was a huge hit and Louise earned the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. In the years prior to this she was a student at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her instructor. In 1964, she signed to CBS and portrayed Ginger Grant. Louise had a long and successful career that combines Broadway television and Hollywood and portraying somber, as opposed to her glamour-doll image had been portrayed as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary, although she established herself as an effective television director in various series like Supernatural & The 100. She was born on 28 August 1965, in Essex. As a young girl, 3, her family moved her to Toronto which is where she spent the majority of in the city for her entire childhood. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and has remained there ever since.
