Lita Rossana Ford often referred to as Lita Ford is a British American musician, songwriter and guitarist who played lead guitar of the all-girl hard rock group The Runaways in the late 1970s.Their rock-star sound and raucous lyrics helped them get noticed within the world of rock. Although the band did not make much progress in America but they enjoyed huge popularity overseas. This was especially true in Japan. Ford began a heavy metal solo career following the band's broke up in 1979. After receiving voice lessons, Ford released her debut self-titled album "Out for Blood" which was followed by "Dancin at the Edge". Ford disappeared for a few years from the music scene as the two albums failed to get the attention they deserved. In 1988, she came back to the scene by releasing a dazzling album titled 'Lita. The single 'Kiss Me Deadly and the ballad 'Close My Eyes Forever were both huge hit songs. Unfortunately her success was short-lived and she disappeared from the music industry for a few years. The resurgence of her career came with releases of "Black" which came out in 1995 as well as "Wicked Wonderland" nearly 15 years following. The album "Time Capsule" was released by her in 2016.
