Luciana Paoluzzi was born in Rome and was raised by her parents. The father of her was Manlio Paoluzzi, an Italian officer of the army. Maria Rota Paoluzzi was one of Benito Mussolini's mistresses. It is not known if she had having siblings. Luciana was a graduate of a local high-school in the year 1955. She went on to study naval engineering in Milan, at the Scientific Academy of Milan. Luciana as the sole female student in the class, was the first be a graduate. Luciana began as fashion models after only two years. Her professional career took a turn following, and by luck, she was offered her first acting role as a character in Three Coins in the Fountain. Brett Halsey is an actress and husband to her in the beginning. They got married in 1960 and filmed the film Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana was granted custody following the divorce. The couple had a child boy named Charles which was born June of 1961. Luciana enjoyed a lengthy relationship with Tony Athony who was the actor and producer of films. Tony was inspired by her role as Green Slime in Green Slime to create the Spaghetti Western.
