Hayley Orrantia (born in the year 1996) is an American actress, singer and song writer. Many people know her from her character in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular TV show 'The Goldbergs.' But, she is primarily an artist. When she was nine years old of age, she was dabbling into music. When she was 12 she was taking serious enough about music to start training professionally. As a teenager She began to write her own music. The first album she released as a cover was released 14 years after. There hasn't been a turning back ever since. Orrantia was born in the USA however she has Hispanic origins. Though she's never was a Spanish speaker in Mexico She is strongly proud of her Hispanic roots. To keep her heritage alive, she is learning Spanish. Additionally, she creates songs based on the language. One of her attempts was the creation of a Spanish song called 'Hasta Verte.' Orrantia performed for The X Factor during its first season, in summer 2011. Orrantia received four "yeses" to the judges at the Seattle live audition stage after being selected from her YouTube submission. The first time she auditioned, she was to be a part of "Hollywood Week" in a one-on-one capacity. However, three other women singers and she were put together to audition other songs.
